NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE
digital & print design
MY Advertising Campaigns class at the University of Miami took on a dynamic challenge with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) as our client for a semester-long project.
Together, we formed our own agency, ‘Z-Group’ , to address a unique opportunity: engaging NCL’s rapidly growing 18-20-year-old audience. This demographic, while increasingly drawn to cruises, lacked targeted entertainment options and clear advertising appeals.
NCL’s core question for us was, “How can we leverage our cruise experiences to captivate this young audience?”
Our campaign’s big idea, “Why not?” aimed to encourage our target audience to be open to what NCL has to offer and embrace new experiences.
My designs played a central role in bringing this idea to life, from crafting bold visuals to creating digital and on-board experiences that resonated with young travelers. We emphasized freedom, adventure, and authenticity—qualities that our research showed would inspire our audience to explore cruising with NCL.
Through Z-Group’s strategies and my design work, we positioned NCL as a brand that truly understands and excites the next generation of cruisers.
